Something that is unavoidable are the constant toxins that our bodies are repeatedly exposed to on a daily basis. Toxins are defined as an antigenic poison or venom derived from a microorganism causing disease. We become exposed to toxins in various ways whether it be externally or internally. Externally exposure can occur through food additives, pesticides, various chemicals, tobacco products, and pollution. External exposure can occur in various forms such as application to the skin, however the majority of toxin enter our bodies through inhalation or otherwise known as breathing. Due to this, its very important to be aware of what we are surrounded by. A fun fact is that the majority of beauty products that have fragrance have loads of chemicals that FDA does not have to list. This is a perfect example of how toxins can secretly enter our bodies. As stated by the above by the definition of the word the reason it is essential to avoid these toxins is that, these toxins can cause disease and illness within our bodies. Internally toxins can be cause through bodily waste, hormone fluctuations and stress. When speaking about detoxification, its important to say that the liver is the main organ that excretes the toxins from our bodies. Therefor making it one of the most important organ as its function is crucial for our overall well being. Detoxification is an essential bodily process on a cellular level so that our bodies can function properly. Although our bodies do have the ability to do this on its own we can aid the process through doing a cleanse or a detoxification for about a week. Ideally a detox should be conducted for roughly a week.
